The basis for selections was created by the planting of our vineyards. Since each grape variety has been planted on the best possible situation, the age of vines no longer plays an equally decisive role as before, but the quality of the grapes depends on optimum weather conditions to the greatest extent. Grapes for selections are chosen from the plants which provide us with the highest levels of quality within any given year.
